This Expansion introduces 2 new playable characters, Jersey Devil and Lizard Person, and a new mechanic that allows you to lead a Cult in The Wilderness.

-Cryptids-
Like all the other Cryptids in the game, the characters in this Expansion come equipped with their own unique Cryptid Powers. You can activate these abilities once per round by discarding a card from your hand.

-Cults-
The new feature of Cryptid Culture is in the name of the game is CULTS! When you play with this Expansion, you’ll choose from one of 6 Cults. As your Cult’s Influence grows by recruiting humans, you’ll get access to powerful Rituals.

Expanded Player Count:
The expansion increases the number of players from 2-4 to 2-6.

NOTE This is not a complete game, Twisted Cryptids is required for play.

Description

Your existence has drawn a pretty big following… so, naturally, it’s time to start a Cult! In this Twisted Cryptids Expansion, you’ll enlist one of 6 cults to help you do your bidding. Represented by a token in The Wilderness, your Cult can migrate around the board, gaining you Myth and recruiting Humans to unlock powerful new abilities to help you get ahead. This expansion also introduces 2 new mischievous playable Cryptids – Jersey Devil and Lizard Person – equipped with unique Cryptid powers guaranteed to shake up the competition.
