Catan: Cities & Knights (5th Edition) is the 2nd expansion for Catan (5th Edition). This expansion can also be combined with Catan: Seafarers (5th Edition) expansion and/or Catan: Traders & Barbarians (5th Edition) expansion to play.

Catan: Cities & Knights (5th Edition) adds several new aspects to Catan (5th Edition). The two major additions are knight pieces and city improvements. Knight pieces will protect the land from invading barbarians. City improvements confer various benefits upon that city’s owner. This expansion adds significant tactical complexity to the original game.

NOTE This is not the full game, Catan (5th Edition) is required for play.

In CATAN® : Cities & Knights you engage in the defense of CATAN®  and compete to build the three great metropolises of CATAN® . Each of these magnificent urban centers is even more valuable than a city. They’re also immune to the dangerous barbarians. Invest in city improvements, which you acquire using three commodities of trade: coin, paper, and cloth. If you improve your culture, muster your knights, and enrich your fine cities, you will be the master of the great realm of CATAN® !

Note: This is not a complete game! Requires Settlers of CATAN®  base game to play.
